Avani Gupta, MD

Dr Gupta grew up in North Carolina and obtained a bachelor of science in Biology at Duke University. She received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis. She returned to North Carolina and completed an internal medicine internship at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. Dr. Gupta went on to complete her diagnostic radiology residency at the Hospital of University of Pennsylvania and New York University. This was followed by sub-specialty training and completing a Breast Imaging fellowship at New York University.
Dr. Gupta is board certified by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the Radiology Society of North America, the American College of Radiology, and the Society of Breast Imaging. Dr. Gupta serves as the Director of the Sequoia Hospital Breast and Diagnostic Center.
